Days 1-5: Metz

After arriving in France, we'll spend our first full day on a day trip to the birthplace of Joan of Arc in Domremy-la-Pucelle to learn about Joan's childhood.

We'll then spend our second day exploring the lives of the Medieval French with visits to the La Cour d'Or museum and the Saint-Pierre-aux-Nonnains basilica.

For our third full day in France, we'll take a day trip to Nancy where Joan met with the Duke of Lorraine to visit the Palais des Ducs de Lorraine museum.

Days 5-8: Orleans

After catching a train to Orleans, we'll spend the afternoon touring the halls of the Cathedrale Ste-Croix.

We'll then spend our first full day in Orleans learning about Joan's role in the Siege of Orleans with a visit to the Maison de Jeanne d'Arc before spending the afternoon on a tour of the city to see the sites where Joan of Arc fought to defend the city.

Participants will then get a day to freely explore the city and its surrounding countryside, history, and culture.

We'll then spend our third full day in Orleans on a day trip to nearby Château de Sully-sur-Loire to visit the remains of a small castle reflecting the English forts Joan assaulted to liberate Central France.

For our final day in Orleans, we'll go on a day trip to visit the battlefields of Joan's Loire Campaign in Jargeau, Meung-sur-Loire, Beaugency, and Patay.

Days 10-14: Paris

After taking a train to Paris, we'll spend the afternoon exploring the Medieval quarter of the city to see the walls French forces assaulted.

We'll then spend our first full day in Paris visiting the Musee de Cluny and the Notre Dame Cathedral to learn about the city's Medieval history.

We'll then spend our second full day in Paris, we'll go on a day trip to Compiegne to explore the town Joan of Arc was captured in while campaigning in Northern France.

We'll then spend our last day in nearby Rouen where the English executed Joan exploring the final days of the French martyr's life.

Itineraries and daily schedules are subject to change. We expect to do everything listed in the itinerary, though the order may be rearranged based on weather or other local conditions.
