Days 1-5: Saipan

After arriving in the Northern Mariana Islands, we'll spend our first full day in Saipan learning about the territory and it's nature with visits to the Northern Mariana Islands Museum and the Grotto.

​

We'll then spend our second full day on a morning hike up Mount Tapochao before returning to the coast to spend the afternoon along the beautiful Micro Beach.

​

We'll then spend our third full day on a day trip to nearby Bird Island Beach to experience the birds and fish of the region firsthand.

For our fourth day in the territory, we'll spend the day learning more about the history and culture of the Northern Mariana Islands with visits to the American Memorial Park and the Garapan Street Market.

​

Days 6-14: Dededo

After flying to Guam, we'll spend the afternoon relaxing and snorkeling at Ritidian Point

​

Participants will then get a free day to explore Guam and its history and culture on their own.

​

We'll then spend our second full day on the island with visits to Gadao's Cave and Latte Stone Park to learn about the pre-colonial history of the Mariana Islands.​

We'll then spend the following day learning about the Spanish colonial era with hikes to Fort Apugan and Fort Soledad.

​

For our fourth full day in Guam, we'll learn more about Guam in the Modern era with visits to the War in the Pacific National Historic Park and Gab Gab Beach.

​

We'll then spend our fifth day on Guam learning about contemporary culture with visits to the Morning Market Dededo and Guam Museum.

​

We'll then explore the marine life of the Mariana Islands with visits to the Underwater World aquarium and Ypao Beach Park.​

Finally, we'll spend our final day  with a visit to Piti Bomb Holes Preserve where years of erosion have created natural underwater holes resembling craters formed from explosives.​

Days 1-8: Honolulu

After arriving in Honolulu, we'll spend our first full day on Oahu learning about the wildlife of Hawaii with a visit to Waimea Botanical Garden before snorkeling at Shark's Cove.

We'll then spend our second full day learning about the history of Hawaii with a visit to the Bishop Museum before kayaking along the Oahu coastline.

​

We'll then spend a day with a visit to the Coconut Island marine bio research center before getting Hula dance lessons from local dance instructors.

We'll then head to tour Kualoa Ranch to learn more about the history of cinema in Hawaii before catching surfing lessons in the afternoon to learn more about Hawaii's most famous sport.

​

We'll then have a day to relax along Queen's Beach before participants get an afternoon to freely explore the area.

Participants will then get the chance to spend a full day freely exploring the island, its nature, and its history on their own on their final full day on the tour.

​

After arriving in Honiara, we'll spend our first full day on Guadalcanal exploring the legacy of WWII on the island with a visit to the American and Japanese memorials before snorkeling at the remains at Bonegi I and II.

We'll the spend our second full day learning about the relationship between nature and culture with a morning visit to Honiara Central Market before spending the afternoon at Tenaru Falls.

​For our third full day in the Solomon Islands, we'll go for a day trip to beautiful Savo Island to explore the unique culture and wildlife of the island.

After that, we'll spend our Friday learning more about the history of the island with a tour of the Solomon Islands National Museum before spending the afternoon hiking Panatina Ridge.

We'll the spend our second full day learning exploring the wildlife of the interior of the island with a hike to the Colo-i-Suva Forest Reserve Waterfalls before learning about the blend of ecology and culture with a visit to the Municipal Handcraft Center.

Days 1-8: Nuku'alofa

After arriving in Tonga, we'll spend our first full day in learning about the history of Tonga with a visit to the Tonga National Museum before getting dinner from the incredible TOP Restaurant and Lounge.

We'll the spend our second full day on a beach day at Ha’atafu Beach- one of the best surf breaks in the Pacific- to learn about Tonga's marine biology.

​

For our third full day in Fiji, we'll learn more about Tonga's terrestrial ecology with a morning hike on the Forest Plantation trail before exploring more of Tonga's cuisine at the Talamahu Market.​

After that, we'll spend our Friday learning more about Tonga's art scene with a visit to Langafonua Handicrafts Centre spotlighting craftswomen from across the island before getting to make our own Tongan crafts at Tina’s Workshop.

​

After that, we'll spend our the next morning learning about Ancient Tongan traditions at Ancient Tonga before participants get an afternoon to freely explore the island.

​Participants will then get a free day to explore the Nuku'alofa and nearby towns on their own and learn more about the local ecology and culture for their final full day before departure.
